SA Police Four Education Officials Busted for Fraud
The police have arrested four Department of Education officials in Modimolle for alleged fraud.

The suspects, aged between 27 and 50, allegedly acted in common purpose with each other by unlawfully, falsely and with intent to defraud the department by creating fictitious or ghost employees.

The fake employees were receiving monthly salaries from August 2012 to date. The salaries were deposited into their accounts. Almost R372 700.00 was siphoned from the government coffers. Police are still hot on the heels of the fifth suspect. They will appear before court soon.
