Twelve bank executives from the Yola metropolitan area met with top University administrators at the AUN Hotel, Conference Center & Spa February 1-2.
Hosted by AUN Chief Financial Officer Anthony Agbo and Hotel General Manager Samer Naoum, the executives represented Fidelity Bank, Zenith Bank, Union Bank, UBA, EcoBank, GTB, Access Bank, First Bank, FCMB, Diamond Bank, and Skye Bank.
The University spokesman, Abba Abubakar Tahir, in welcoming the group, remarked that AUN recognizes the banks’ critical role in the development of the community. He also noted the collaborative relationships between AUN and their institutions, including student entrepreneurship and service learning.
Josiah Zamba from Union Bank, Yola, encouraged University administrators to spread AUN’s unique brand across Nigeria.
The reception was followed by a goodwill dinner and a tour of the Hotel.
