NUML, Islamabad, and Selcuk University, Turkey, signed MoU For Academic Exchange

National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad, and Selcuk University, Konya, Turkey, have signed an MoU of mutual collaboration and cooperation in the field of academic exchange, advance research and joint educational projects to benefit from experience of each other, says a press release.

This cherished MoU was signed by NUML Director General Brig Azam Jamal, and Rector Selcuk University Professor Dr Hakki GOKBEL in a simple but impressive ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Vice Rector Selcuk University Professor Dr. Hasan Kürsat GÜLES, registrar, directors, deans and heads of different departments of the university.

Speaking on the occasion, Rector Selcuk University Professor Dr Hakki GOKBEL, said in this century, the importance of information and communication increased more and more and brought a process characterised by intense international interactions.

 DG Brig Azam Jamal said that he was overwhelmed by the support and patronage of Turkey’s Embassy and a quick response from Turkish public/private universities and institutions for cementing strong academic ties with NUML in the true spirit of a desire expressed by Turkish Ambassador Sadik Babur Girgin during his visit to NUML recently.
