U.S. Professor Commends All Nations Varsity - For Pioneering Effective Study of Sciences

A Professor at the Biological Sciences Department of the Florida Atlantic University has ranked the nation's 2013 most prestigious university, All Nations University College (ANUC), as the most dynamic private university in the country, for pioneering the effective study of sciences.

Professor Kumi-Diaka, who paid a voluntary visit to the management of the university last week Friday, noted that the All Nations University had amply demonstrated its quest to train the manpower needed to solve societal crisis, by championing the study of science.

"Almost all private universities are into business and humanities, but All Nations University has the pace, and that will propel the university to the utmost," he said.

Kumi-Diaka commended the management of ANUC for investing in the area of science, and promised to partner the university in the area of technology transfer, through effective collaboration.

Prof. Kumi-Diaka noted that the world was rapidly advancing, and that there was the need for Africans to catch up with the developed world, saying the only way this could be achieved was through productive collaboration between universities and research based institutions.

He said he would constantly engage the Science Faculty to champion creativity, in line with his objective to help draw the faculty to the scheme of technology transfer, with the aim of putting Ghana in the league of developed countries.

The Registrar of the university, Dr. Lynn Kisembe Darkwa, said the university recognised the visit as important, and appreciated the commitment demonstrated by Prof. Diaka-Kumi to bring his expertise to bear on the university.

Registrar Darkwah said the school welcomes people with expertise to help train and equip graduates with the requisite knowledge to confront challenges in society, and gave the assurance that the university would maintain and improve on the integrity it has gained since its establishment in 2002.
