International Aviation College, kwara State, Ilorin First Graduation Ceremony

It all started as a dream in 2006, with the primary aim of ameliorating the aviation situation in Kwara and Nigeria; but today, the dream is a visible reality with the graduation of the first set of pilots at the International Aviation College, Ilorin.

I congratulate the students who have stayed focus and endured the training to attain this level. I also appreciate the College Board, and every member of the staff, the vision wouldn't have been a reality without you.

It's impossible to forget or overlook the effort of the state government led by Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, the excellent manager who has laid it upon himself to sustain the legacies he met, without his administration's support for the college, no doubt, this success wouldn't be possible.

Considering the college's decision to align with KWASU in order to improve the intellectual capacity of its students and the support from Nigerian Airforce with 25 Officers to help in training students, the Aviation College will surpass its present records and create new aviation records in Africa.

Sincerely, this is the best way I have ever celebrated my birthday; marking my fifty first birthday with pilots graduating at the aviation college, a dream come true.

Thank you all.

Signed

Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki CON
