Students will now pay Sh63,000 per tri-semester down from Sh 120,000. The university has embarked on a plan to rebrand itself in an expansion plan aimed at offering more courses to the students.
The university Vice Chancellor Prof Miriam Mwita yesterday said they will continue to offer courses focusing on a wholistic approach to produce highly qualified graduates.
"We aim at producing the best graduates spiritually, physically and mentally so that they can perform well in the society," said Mwita.
She was speaking to the Star in her office,The university, which is sponsored by the Seventh Day Adventist, says its courses are not limited to members of the church but all Kenyans.
"We have students from various religious backgrounds including Muslims," said Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of academics Dr Gude Kurso.
Gude said they ensure the university offers conducive learning environment to students.
She said the media should come up with programmes that can help instill good morals among the youth and other Kenyans.
Auxiliary manager Ezekiah Moracha said they are ready to use the university agricultural farm to train the community around and other Kenyans on the best agricultural practices to help improve food production.
