President Kenyatta Awarded Honorary Degree At Moi University

President Uhuru Kenyatta receives his certificate after he was confered a Honary degree of Doctors of Letters (Honoris Causa) by Moi University Chancellor Prof. Miriam Were during the institution's 29th graduation ceremony in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.

President Uhuru Kenyatta today received an honorary degree of Doctorate in Letters (Honoris Causa) from the Moy University in

recognition of his endless efforts to promote peace and unity among Kenyans.

The doctorate was also awarded to the President for his public service and commitment to transform the government' service delivery.

"It is deeply gratifying to know that my public service and commitment to transform Government's service delivery has not only attracted your attention and critical appreciation, but has also earned the approval at the highest level of your institution," President Kenyatta said.

While speaking during the Moi Universities' graduation ceremony in Uasin Gishu County, President Kenyatta said economic acceleration lies at the core of his vision of national transformation. He said he feels challenged to ensure discipline at every level of government in order to deliver accountability to Kenyans everywhere.

He saluted Moi University's achievements and recognised its commitment to enabling the society to overcome its challenges.
