American Medical Association Foundation Donates 40 Computers to UNILAG

American Medical Association (AMA) Foundation
Authorities of the University of Lagos have received forty (40) computer sets donated by American Medical Association (AMA) Foundation.

The computer sets were received on Friday, July 26, 2013 by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics and Research), Professor Babajide Alo along with the Director of Academic Affairs, Professor Toyin Ogundipe; Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Olukayode Amund; Director of Quality Assurance, Professor Solomon Okunuga as well as the Outgoing and Designate Registrars, Oluwarotimi Shodimu, Esq. and Dr. (Mrs.) Taiwo Folasade Ipaye.

The AMA Foundation delegation at the Presentation Ceremony included Omochien Ikechukwu, Onuk Francis and Chizoba Ibe among others.

Speaking at the Presentation Ceremony, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics and Research), Professor Babajide Alo thanked the Foundation for the kind gesture. He promised that the computers would be put to good use by the students.

One of the representatives of AMA Foundation, Omochien Ikechukwu said that the Foundation had made similar donations to other institutions including Bayero University, Kano. He explained that the Foundation would continue to support the University through various aids as such assistance highlight its core value of giving back to the society.
