University of Mines and technology Tarkwa to hold 5th Congregation

5th Congregation of University of Mines and Technology

The University Council, the Vice Chancellor and Management of the University of Mines and Technology announce for the information of the general public that the University will hold its 5th Congregation on SATURDAY, 27th July, 2013 at 9.00am.

The following groups of Graduands will be presented:
1.    All first degree graduands who completed their programmes by May, 2013
2.    All postgraduate graduands who completed their programmes by June, 2013.

Graduands should pay GHc 50.00 to cover the hiring of academic gowns and supply of congregation brochures and presentation tubes.
Graduands should pay the fee to the cash office and register with the Academic and Student Affairs Unit not later than 26th July, 2013 by providing the following information:

1.    Name of Graduand
2.    Programme Offered
3.    Name of Faculty and Department
4.    Year of Graduation

Graduands may invite not more than two (2) persons (preferably their parents or guardians) to attend and witness the ceremony.
They will also make their own arrangements for accommodation and feeding.

Graduands should attend congregation rehearsals on Friday, 26th July, 2013 in the auditorium at 2.00 pm. The rehearsal exercise is compulsory and should be considered as such. Those who do not attend the rehearsals will not be presented.
