As the strike declared by ASUU on Monday enters its second day yesterday, normal activities were on at the University of Ilorin, Daily Trust gathered.
Members of staff, postgraduate students and few final year students were seen going about their normal businesses on campus.
Uni Ilorin ASUU, which has shunned virtually all industrial actions declared by the national ASUU for more than a decade, claimed that the directive to down tools was not extended to them.
Speaking with newsmen yesterday, chairman of the ASUU, Uni Ilorin local chapter, Professor Wahab Egbewole, said they got to know of the ongoing strike on the pages of newspaper.
