Students Attend Lecture On Importance of Reading

A lecture on "importance of reading for raising the academic and cultural skill among the students took place Thursday in Saurimo, eastern Lunda Sul province.

Run by "Núcleo de Amigos da Leitura e Literatura", the lecture is intended to encourage the taste and practice in reading among youths.

The event was chaired by the writer Tazuary Nkeita, who on the occasion welcomed the initiative of young people on engagement in actions aimed at boosting the reading among the communities.

According to him, all the knowledge is contained in books, that is why the students should follow up the progress of the life and enable scientific, academic knowledge and improve the intellectual performance to better contribute to the local development.

The event was attended by members of civil society, academician, High Education and University students.
