PCN Okays LAUTECH for Drug Manufacture

The Pharmacists Council of Nigeria, PCN, has granted Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Osogbo authority to commence manufacturing of drugs in commercial quantities.

The council in its letter dated May 8, 2013, conveying authority to manufacture oral liquid preparations and signed by the Council's acting registrar, Mrs. G. O. Abumere,urged LAUTECH Pharmaceutical Company Limited to ensure strict compliance with the good general manufacturing practice and maintenance standards.

In its bid to ensure administration of quality medication to its patients and good health care delivery services in the state and its environs, LAUTHECH Teaching Hospital established a drug manufacturing company.
