Holds Graduation Ceremony
The Gambia Muslim Senior Secondary School (MSSS) on Saturday held its graduation and speech and prize giving ceremony at the school grounds in Banjul. Speaking at the event, the guest speaker, Baboucarr Jeng, the general manager of NACCUG, said students must know that the journey in pursuit of knowledge involves rising and falling, noting that this is inevitable.

He told the graduates that there is no single grant or magic formula, but it is only hard work and determination that can pave way to success. Jeng further advised the graduating class not to relent their quest to achieving higher education in the University of The Gambia (UTG) and excellent universities around the globe as the Gambian leader has said that the sky is the limit for education in the country.

For his part, Lamin K Marong, the principal of the school, expressed thanked the Almighty Allah for making the day a success. He advised the graduating class to be serious in whatever capacity they may find themselves in future hence it is a period in which they have to make critical decisions and must prepare to take responsibilities for their decisions.

Marong also applauded parents for their tireless efforts to educate their children over the past years. He said it is indeed a great investment, which started from birth to their present level of education, and these efforts cannot be quantified.
