179 Emirati graduates returned UAE with higher education degrees

179 Emirati graduates have returned to the UAE after having obtained degrees in science from 11 foreign countries in different continents, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced on Monday.

Among the graduates are 121 bachelor degree holders, 45 master’s degree holders, five PhD holders, four fellowship holders, three board degree holders, and one Facharzt degree holder.

The scholarship and foreign cultural relations department is responsible for the administration of the scholarship programme which funds students who are qualified for study abroad.

The department has monitored the student’s performance from the time they were awarded the scholarship until they returned to their homeland.
