Youths Threaten JAMB Over UTME Results in Sokoto
Preparation is on top gear to unleash an attack on staff of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) should the plight of the candidates be taken for granted, LEADERSHIP investigation has revealed.

According to a source who prefers anonymity, the students who wrote the UTME and could not get their result on grounds of biometric verification are already making contacts to embark on a nationwide protest.

The source further revealed that the candidates had itemised three remedial options which, if duly followed, would assuage their anger and stop the subsequent demonstration.

One of such options include releasing of every pending jamb result especially those on grounds of biometric verification since it is not their making, it was UTME officials that brought dysfunctional equipment.

The second option includes either JAMB finds a way of paying back the students' money or granting other palliatives to cushion the effect of the psychological trauma they are being subjected to in the course of the exams. Thirdly, the students could use legal means to compel the examination body to do either of the two, and also warned that, should the judiciary option fail, they would go ahead to besiege JAMB and its staff.
