Tubman University Vice President Resigns
The Vice President for Administration at the William V.S. Tubman University in Harper has resigned.

According to a press release posted recently on the bulletin of the university, the resignation of Dr. Joseph Isaac was based on his appointment as the new President of the African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU) by the Board of Trustees in Monrovia.

Dr. Isaac was the first Vice President at the Tubman University (formerly Technical College or TC) when it was elevated to a full-fledged university status by the Liberian government in 2009.

Before 2009, TC as it was affectionately called offered only Associate of Arts degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Civil Engineering to several graduates.

In prewar days, the school was and still is the leading higher institution of learning in southeastern Liberia. However, since its elevation to a university status, the institution now grants degree programs in the areas of Technology, Management and Administration, Arts and Sciences as well as Education respectively, among others.
