Bié Govt Sign Accords With Portuguese Universities

The government of the central Bié province, the Portuguese Trás-os-Montes University and the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra signed on Wednesday here, two co-operation accords, Angop has learnt.

The protocols will enable students of Bié to attend graduation courses in Portugal, as well as teaching staff of Bié higher education school to benefit from short-term trainings in Portugal.

The documents were signed by the provincial director of education in Bié, Basílio Caetano and the deputy Dean for research and co-operation with Trás-os-Montes University, Carlos da Costa Sucção, and the head of the Coimbra Polytechnic Institute, Rui Antunes.

Rui Antunes said that the accords will also facilitate an interaction in the social, economy and culture areas.
