The Polytechnic Higher Education Institute was inaugurated on May 4 by the municipal administrator of Benguela, Leopoldo Muhongo, aimed at contributing to the achievement of the objectives of the national strategic plan of staff.

The institute with 22 classrooms and two laboratories has the capacity to receive about 2.480 students in courses like law, economy, human resources management, biology and sociology.

Other courses like clinical psychology, sports, political science and international affairs, as well as computer training are other subjects to be taught at the institution.
