Southern Business School (SBS) Namibia
The Southern Business School has appointed Albin Jacobs as the new manager for academic and leadership development.

The Southern Business School was established in 1996 and offers accredited qualifications. "Jacobs brings many years of relevant experience with him in this position and is certainly the right person to develop the Southern Business School (SBS) Namibia," reads a statement from the school.

Jacobs has worked at the Polytechnic of Namibia's Centre for Entrepreneurial Development before and is also the founding director of the Namibian-German Centre for Logistics at the same institution.

"This experience has equipped Mr Jacobs very well in the field. His knowledge of the challenges facing students, academic institutions, but also the private sector with regard to education, means that he will be a real asset. The new appointment is not just good for the SBS in Namibia but also for Namibian business. With a passion and drive to bring education to those that want to better themselves, Namibia has a real champion in Jacobs," the school says.

Regarding his appointment Jacobs said: "Education is the only way forward for us to develop Namibia. Students need to have more alternatives when it comes to tertiary education and SBS offers such a credible alternative, which offers the real choices and opportunities that students need. SBS is committed in time, money and quality to offer the students the best possible start in their working careers by giving them the right education, knowledge and skills."
