A practical lessons complex for the Angolan Stated-run Agostinho Neto University (UAN) campus was inaugurated Saturday in the locality of Cabo Ledo, Luanda, by the Higher Education minister, Adão Ferreira Gaspar do Nascimento.
Speaking to the press on the issue, the minister said other higher education institutions of the country could use the facilities to conduct their activities contained in their training programmes.
According to Adão do Nascimento, the country is in need of personnel skilled in geology, engineering, geography and geophysics and the authorities are engaged in restructuring the departments that run these programmes.
In addition to other facilities, the complex includes two fully equipped dormitories for 80 students and accommodation for nine teachers.
