Nigeria: Atiku Donates Building, Bus to University of Ibadan

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has pledged to build a fully furnished, two hundred-seater lecture theatre for the Department of Political Science of the University of Ibadan.

This followed a request by the University made to the former Vice President.

The new facility is to be built at the university's new campus at Ajibode and is to be christened 'Atiku Abubakar Lecture Theatre.'

The former Vice President also accepted the acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Idowu Olayinka's request to give the university a bus as well as the Dean, Social Sciences, Professor A. Yagboyaju's request for him to renovate the already run-down lecture theatre of that faculty.
