Central University to Sign an MOU with Southern University, USA
Cooperation agreement between CUC and Southern University.
The President of Central University College, Prof. Kwesi Yankah would be visiting the Southern University at New Orleans, State of Louisiana, USA from Monday, 28th of February, 2013 to discuss a cooperative agreement aimed at promoting higher education, research and cultural interest in both institutions.
The President who will be joined on the trip by Prof. Frederick Rodriques, the Dean of School of Applied Sciences would among other things will be discussing a cooperative agreement.
Southern University offers a wide spectrum of programmes ranging from arts, business, science, education etc. It was founded fifty years ago and offers about 400 courses and services to approximately 3,500 students each semester.
Other areas of cooperation are faculty exchange, students exchange, short-term academic programme and other areas of interests to both institutions.
They are due to return to Ghana on Thursday 7th February, 2013.
