JAMB Holds UME Trial Computer Exams in Bauchi

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has conducted a trial computer based examinations for about 100 selected secondary school students from 10 local government areas of Bauchi State.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the trial examinations that took place at the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, the Bauchi Zonal Coordinator of JAMB, Usman Sabo Zage, said 89 out of the 100 students expected to take part in the examinations registered their presence at the venue.

He said the event was organised by JAMB to alert both parents and students that the 2014 UME examination was scheduled to take place on April 12, 2014.

"The trial examination was conducted successfully. The board will now give priority to computer based tests because by 2015 all exams will be computerised," he said.
