UAE Iqra’a and Sharjah Calligraphy Museum collaborate for calligraphy exhibition

In celebration of the United Nations Arabic Language Day, Iqra’a Arabic Language Center in collaboration with Sharjah Calligraphy Museum announces an inspiring Calligraphy Exhibition showcasing the talents of four acclaimed Calligraphy artists: Zaid Al A’thami, Ali Al Hammadi, Eman Al Bastaki and Haya Al Ketbi. Visitors and attendees will also get a chance to try their hand at the ancient art-form in a series of short instructional workshops.

Zaid al A’thami participated in and won second prize at The Emirates Plastic Arts Society Calligraphy Exhibition.

Ali Al Hammadi participated in The Emirates Plastic Arts Society Calligraphy Exhibition.

Eman Al Bastaki’s work featured in The exhibition entitled ‘A Verse Imprinted/Islamic Arts’ which was inaugurated by Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. She also won the Al Owais Award for Studies and Scientific Innovation in Calligraphy.

Haya Al Ketbi’s work has won prizes from the Sultan Bin Al Owais Cultural Foundation.
