Fawzia Hassan bin Gharib, Assistant Under-Secretary of Education, announced during a press conference held earlier today in the ministry office in Dubai that the conference, which lasts for one day, is expected to be attended by more than a thousand specialists and others interested in the education sector, in addition to education experts from the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.
She explained that the conference aims to link school leaders with the senior leadership in the ministry to examine new directions and identify the most important ongoing strategic initiatives for the academic year 2013 – 2014.
Fawzia Hassan bin Gharib added that the enhancement of communications between principals and senior leadership in the ministry actively contributes to the development of the performance of field education leaders on the basis of scientific and education and acquaint them with the educational experiences and developments in the Arab world.
She emphasised that the conference will address the importance of training and sustainable professional development to raise the performance levels of school leadership, which is reflected in the school’s performance.
