Coperation Agreement Between UFF and TNC GAN

Earlier on Wednesday, September 11, was a formalized cooperation agreement between the Universidade Federal Fluminense and TNC GAN company's service sector nutritional therapy that works with enteral and parenteral nutrition and conducts hospital care, outpatient and household, as well as provide support in education and training of professionals.

The cooperation agreement covers several projects, whose main objects work in the training database, partnerships that enable students UFF acting on some of the main centers of medical excellence of Rio de Janeiro and also the product development of diet therapy the main emphasis in the technological field. The development of these products can alleviate the current situation of dependence on imports, since these foreign goods, and high cost, are not easily accessible.

Present at the signing of the Vice Chancellor Sidney Mello, the dean of postgraduate, research and innovation, Antonio Claudio da Nobrega, and Professor, School of Nutrition Daniele Ferreira. Besides the course Nutrition, Institute of Mathematics and Statistics and the School of Medicine also work in partnership with TNC GAN.

The company, which was founded 24 years ago by former students of the FFU and has performed over 30,000 hospital care and domiciliary 5000, since its inception has a close relationship with the university, highlighting the partnership with the institution through internship programs.
