Subscription
After accessing the link above, create a login (using your e-mail address) and a password to begin the application. Students will need to fill out their personal information, language skills, professional experience, and home institution information, as well as select the courses that they are interested in.  (Note: Students may choose all courses in the same area, as they will be offered at different times.)

After filling out their information, students will need to attach three required documents: a copy of a passport or personal ID, a transcript of records, and proof of funding or personal financial resources. After meeting these requirements, students must be sure to “save and submit” the application.

Credits
Since Unesp is a public university, the entire program is set to offer academic credits free of charge. The ICU has full recognition of credits and each program will be arranged according to the ECTS guidelines (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System). Because of this, students will have the great advantage of taking ECTS based courses abroad while only being responsible for their living expenses in Brazil.

The ICU project is an effort by Unesp in order to promote international diversity in the classroom and participation of international students in our university programs. This is the first time a Brazilian higher education institution offers Master’s programs in English.

ICU will accept Undergraduate, Master’s and PhD students along with individuals that have an undergraduate degree, without institutional affiliation. Unesp will offer free Portuguese as a Foreign Language and Brazilian Culture courses to enable better integration for students. Applications are open until October 26th.
