UNISA Degree, Master's and Doctoral Application For 2014 Open

UNISA 2014 Admissions
Choosing Unisa is not an easy decision, because studying through Unisa is, in some respects, more difficult than studying through a residential university. We've made some changes to our application process and you need to know how these will affect you.

Undergraduate, Honours, Higher Certificates, Diplomas and Degress:

Application dates: 15 August to 20 September 2013

You must apply for each new qualification even if you already have a Unisa student number. If you have never before studied at Unisa you must:

    have a valid e-mail address
submit electronic copies of all your supporting documents
group your documents as follows: Identity document, school leaving certificate and academic records

If you are a returning student changing your qualification or starting a new qualification, you must:

reapply online even if you already have a student number and, if you do not reapply, you will not be able to register.

You can only apply online using your own computer, an internet café or a Unisa self-help terminal.

If you are applying at a Unisa centre using our self-help terminals, you must bring a flash drive or CD with your supporting documents.
Undergraduate students must do a compulsory online course; postgraduate coursework is now largely online.

Master's and Doctoral Programmes:

Application dates: 16 September to 15 November 2013

Application information for master's and doctoral qualifications will be available on this website in September 2013.

Some qualifications offered by the College of Science, Engineering and Technology will have different application dates.
