University of Ghana Extend Deadline for Undergradduate Applications

University of Ghana 2013 Application Deadline

The University of Ghana announces for the information of the general public that 2013/14 applications for admission to the following programmes are still opened:

THE DISTANCE EDUCATION PROGRAMME AT THE INSTITUTE OF CONTINUING AND DISTANCE EDUCATION (ICDE)

AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES:
The following programmes are available for the 2013 – 2014 academic year:

i) BACHELOR OF ARTS (BA)
Subjects available for the Bachelor of Arts Programme are:
Adult Education, Economics, Geography and Resource Development, Linguistics, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Information Studies, Political Science and History. The subjects have been put into bouquets and applicants are expected to make up to 4 (four) choices.

ii) BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ADMINISTRATION (BSc. ADMIN)
After Levels 100 and 200 the following options will be available at Level 300: Accounting, Banking and Finance, Organisational and Human Resource Management, Marketing, Public Administration, Health Services Management.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

o University of Ghana Diploma
o Diploma/HND Holders from accredited tertiary institutions
o WASSCE/SSSCE Holders

DEADLINES FOR APPLICATION
(a) Diploma-to-degree applicants only – Friday, August 9, 2013

(b) WASSCE/SSSCE applicants only – Monday, September 30, 2013

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY PROGRAMME (INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS ONLY)

Deadline: Wednesday, July 31, 2013.
