The Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, Professor W.O Ellis, believes the signing of the MoU is an attestation that both parties have critically observed all documentation. He said the relationship with RADUC would provide mutual benefit as it would go a long way to provide higher education opportunities for the increasing number of young people. He believed all the universities affiliated to KNUST would learn from one another and help solve problems in the communities where they are sited. He hoped with time Radford University College would grow and stand on its own as the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa and the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani are now. He congratulated RADUC and assured them that they would receive all the benefits and help associated with affiliation. He wanted them to know that the success and challenges of KNUST were theirs and viceversa.
The Executive Chairman of RADUC, Nana Dwomoh Sarpong, expressed his profound appreciation for the acceptance and help that KNUST was providing. He said RADUC opted for KNUST because of the good name and success it had chalked over the past years. He believed an affiliation with KNUST was the best platform for RADUC to grow and become recognized as one of the best institutions in the country. He thanked the management and staff of KNUST and promised that RADUC would abide by all the rules and regulations. He, however, appealed to the government to help the private universities to solve some of their financial burdens.

He believed cooperation should exist between public and private universities in order to ensure that more young people obtained higher education. They were accompanied by the Registrar of RADUC, Mr. Maxwell Owusu-Twum and Mrs. Daisy S. Osei, Director, University and International Relations.
The Deputy Registrar of Human Resource Development, KNUST, Mr. Ben Andoh acting on behalf of the Registrar said it was disheartening for the university to turn down applicants during the admission process. He said it was a blessing for private universities to come on board to help reduce this problem and therefore he appealed to the government to help private tertiary institutions. He hoped RADUC would work assiduously to achieve their targets
