KNUST to host 6th Biennial Congress of Internal Auditors of Public Universities

6th Biennial Congress of Internal Auditors of Public Unis

The Secretariat of the Committee of Internal Auditors in Public Universities in Ghana wishes to invite staff of Internal Audit Office, the Finance Officers and the Registrars to the 6th Biennial Congress which has been scheduled for 1st and 2nd August 2013 at the Law Faculty Conference Room KNUST, Kumasi.

The theme for this year’s congress is “The Value Added Role of the Internal Auditor in Tertiary Institutions” and participants will have an opportunity to discuss topical issues relating to adding value to the operations of the University. This programme is aimed at providing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) that will positively improve internal audit practices in our Institutions.

Speakers will include:

Director General of the Internal Audit Agency and the President of the Institute of Internal Auditor (Ghana).

The congress cost for two days including material for each participant is GH¢150.00 and the reporting time is Wednesday 31st July, 2013.
