GEMS Westminster School to open in Ras Al Khaimah,UAE

GEMS Education will open its first school in Ras Al Khaimah in September.

GEMS Westminster School – Ras Al Khaimah, will cater to children from foundation stage 1 to Year 8, and in successive years will expand to include the secondary years.

Modelled after the already existing GEMS Westminster schools, GEMS Westminster School – Ras Al Khaimah will offer the National Curriculum for England and will prepare students to take IGCSE courses and A Level Examinations.

Royston Soares, Principal of GEMS Westminster School – Ras Al Khaimah, is excited about the opening and highlights that like all GEMS schools, developing the individual student will be the focus of his school. “We will strive to understand what makes each child different and unique and help them to discover and develop their personal strengths and talents. Our vision is to develop children so they are active, engaged and successful learners.”

GEMS Westminster School – Ras Al Khaimah will offer scholarships across a range of disciplines from sport to art and academics, and also offers sibling discounts.

The new school will also provide high quality, affordable education to students of all nationalities.

Some of the facilities at the new school include an outdoor football pitch, cricket nets, outdoor multi-games courts, ICT, music, art and science labs, library and indoor play areas.
