Abu Dhabi Education Council headquarters moves to new location

The headquarters of the Abu Dhabi Education Council have been relocated to the Ministries Complex at Shaikh Zayed Street in the capital, the Adec announced on Monday.

The new building replaces the Adec’s previous headquarters on Airport Road and is located behind Khalifa Park.

The new headquarters have been operational since Sunday, June 30.

The Adec was established in accordance with law No. 24 of 2005, issued by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

It seeks to develop education in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, implement innovative policies, establish programmes that improve education, and support institutions and staff to achieve the objectives of national development in accordance with the highest international standards.
