Trent University and Lakefield College School (LCS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to continue to develop and expand a framework of cooperation between Lakefield College School and Trent University.
Dr. Steven E. Franklin, president and vice-chancellor of Trent and LCS Head of School Struan Robertson were present to sign the document.
Trent and Lakefield College School share in common many parents, students, alumni and teachers and recognize the importance of sustaining a strong relationship that will grow for students and the greater communities.
Trent and Lakefield College School have partnered in many ways over the years, starting with Trent’s founding president, THB Symons, who served as an academic advisor and later as board member and trustee to Lakefield College School – and more recently a unique collaboration between Trent, Lakefield College School and the Canadian Canoe Museum to present the annual Jack Matthews Fellowship.
Furthering the connection between the two renowned educational institutions, Lakefield College School and Trent University agree to work together to explore partnership opportunities of mutual interest and student benefit and develop mutually beneficial programs, projects and activities.
