Etisalat Academy Launches Centre of Excellence in Quality Training and Certification

Etisalat Academy, the largest single-source provider of training and development solutions in the Middle East, launched the Centre of Excellence in Quality Training and Certification in association with Etisalat Service Holding ( ESH ) , a part of Etisalat Group.

As part of developing partnerships with the Centre of Excellence, Etisalat Academy (EA) signed an MOU with Bureau Veritas , a global leader in Testing, Inspection, Training, and Certification services, in association with ESH Quality Services. This partnership will provide different levels of certified training programmes in the area of international management systems.

The MOU was signed between Ali Al Sharid, Chief Executive Officer, Etisalat Services Holding and SofienMasmoudi, Chief Executive, Bureau Veritas .

The Etisalat Academy Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Quality Training & Certification is born out of an initiative between ESH Quality Services and EA to help develop the capacity of nationals, government bodies, corporate sector, and individuals in the areas of Quality and Business Excellence.
Dr. Ali Al-Qayedi, Ag. General Manager, Etisalat Academy , said: ” Etisalat Academy is committed to high quality learning and development experience. As part of this commitment, and in association with ESH Quality Services, we are launching this CoE and partnering with Bureau Veritas , the benchmark for Quality and Excellence in the region. This new initiative will enable us to further develop and launch several categories of certified programs in this stream.”

This CoE in Quality aims at developing and implementing identified programmes in response to clients’ needs, emerging requirements, and international trends. The CoE will accomplish this by forming partnerships with certified bodies, regional and international organizations, and industry experts.
Mr. SofienMasmoudi, Chief Executive, Bureau Veritas , said: “Considering the common goal of both the organizations in the field of enhancing awareness; strategic partnership is formed between Bureau Veritas and Etisalat Academy to promote such training courses with an aim of improving the knowledge skill and attitude of the individuals. While clubbing together the history and expertise of both the renowned organization, we aim to serve the community and play our role in development of the key resource.”

Etisalat Academy will develop and launch varied Categories of certified programs within the Quality Centre of Excellence including: Quality Management Systems, Environment Management Systems, Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, Information Security Management Systems, EFQM Certified Programs (European Foundation for Quality Management), Quality Tools Programs such as Six Sigma & Balanced Scorecard,Conferences, Seminars and Consultancy Services.
