AAU Graduates 166 Medical Doctors

Addis Ababa University (AAU) Health Science College graduated 166 Medical doctors on Saturday. 36 of the graduates are women.

On the occasion, Speaker of the House of Federation and AAU Board Chairperson Kassa Tekleberhan said Ethiopia is working to produce large number of medical doctors in a bid to improve the health sector development.

He also urged the graduates to build on the success achieved in the sector and serve the nation faithfully.

AAU President Dr. Admassu Tsegaye for his part said the admission capacity of the AAU health college has been advancing. He called up on the graduates to go to various parts of the nation and discharge their responsibility in improving the health sector.

The graduates told ERTA their readiness to serve the public in line with what the profession demands.
