NANS Lauds FUT Minna VC's Appointment

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Zone "A" has commended the appointment of Prof. Musbau Akanji, as the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, Niger State.

NANS coordinator in the zone, Mohammed Abubakar Gambo, said in a statement that the appointment of Prof Akanji was a well deserved one going by his antecedents and track record in the institution.

"The governing council of the university shows great courage, fair play and high sense of maturity in the selection of the management team for the institution," it said.

Gambo called on staff and students of the institution "to shun any form of violence and ensure a full scale regime in the institution by marrying peace, tolerance, love and to show spirit of togetherness and be constructive in all matters that would foster development in the institution."
