Kano Approves N160 Million Projects for Bayero University
The Kano State Government on Tuesday said it has approved N160 million for the construction of some projects at the Bayero University, Kano.

The governor of the state, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso, made the announcement when he received the chairman and members of the board of directors of the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital. The governor said the approval was part of his administration's contributions to uplifting the standard of education in the state.

He said the state government would expand the Gyadi-Gyadi road through Yantsaki link road to the hospital.

Kwankwaso said the state government was working with stakeholders towards making the Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital a teaching hospital of the Kano State University of Science and Technology, Wudil. He added that the new Pfizer hospital would be used by the North-West University.

Chairman, Board of Directors of the hospital, Alhaji Saidu Sambawa, expressed satisfaction with the efforts of Kwankwaso in transforming the state. (NAN)
