Qatar Foundation Launches 'Passion Drives Our World' Competition

Qatar Foundation
Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development has unveiled its latest thrilling competition to celebrate its ongoing partnership with FC Barcelona (FCB).

On Monday April 15th at midday Doha Time (0900 GMT), Qatar Foundation began inviting its global community to enter its 'Passion Drives Our World' contest to fly to Barcelona, travel with the FCB team to Germany, and watch the vital Champions League semi-final first leg tie live at the stunning Allianz Arena.

To enter the social media competition, simply take a photograph of yourself standing in front of a well-known landmark holding a Qatar Foundation - FCB 'Passion Drives Us All' banner, which can be downloaded and printed out from www.qf-fcb.com . The competition will run for 60 hours only, closing at midnight (2100 GMT) on Wednesday, 17 April. The winner will then be selected at random through a prize draw, and will be able to nominate a friend or relative so that they can take this once-in-a-lifetime journey together.

The eagerly awaited semi-final tie against Bayern Munich sets up the mouth-watering prospect of a Champions League Final between FCB and Real Madrid, should both sides prevail, to take place at Wembley in London next month.

There will also be an additional prize of a Qatar Foundation-branded FCB shirt for the competition entrant who lives furthest from Doha, emphasising the global resonance of the partnership with FCB. Readers are encouraged to spread the word about the contest to their family and friends around the world.

Qatar Foundation's Deputy Director of Communication, Rashed Al-Qurese, said, "At Qatar Foundation we are committed to the mission we share with FC Barcelona of unlocking the human potential of people all over the world.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our international community to come together and demonstrate that Passion Drives Us All. Whether you live in Qatar or in Canberra, the competition is open to all, and we welcome entrants from far and wide, as well as from the local community."
