To kick off the collaboration, Khalifa University invited senior officials from Cadence to visit the campus?s Semiconductor Research Center, the Khalifa University announced today.
Cadence Design Systems is a leader in global electronic design innovation, and offers a network for selected universities, research institutes, and industry advisors to facilitate the sharing of technology expertise in the areas of verification, design and implementation of microelectronic systems.
By joining the network, Khalifa University commits to send professors and research staff to regular annual conferences organized by the Cadence Academic Network, such as the Academic Track at CDNLive EMEA, the company?s yearly user conference which will take place in Munich from May 6th-8th, 2013.
Additionally, Khalifa University will provide lecture material to the other universities of the network and share its experiences using Cadence technology.“We are very pleased to be working with Cadence,” Mohammed Ismail Elnaggar, Director of Khalifa Semiconductor Research Center, said.
