University of Abuja Finally Begins Exams

Second semester examinations have finally begun at the University of Abuja after Engineering students botched the process twice in the last six months.

The exams held following announcements by federal government that the Engineering students, who have been protesting non-accreditation of their programme, would be transferred to six universities to continue their studies.

The university started examinations yesterday with 400 level law and final year students who would be sitting for different papers throughout the week.

Deputy Registrar Information Waziri Garba said the examinations "will be followed by other levels on weekly basis."
