ESCP Europe’s Master in European Business sets out to conquer China

ESCP Europe Business School
Building on its successful partnerships in India and Thailand, ESCP Europe’s Master in European Business (MEB) programme is strengthening its presence in Asia with a new partnership agreement in China. It has chosen one of China’s most selective institutions: the Xiamen University School of Management (SMXU), located close to Taiwan. This prestigious university offers MEB students the opportunity to travel to China for the first semester of their studies, starting from July 2013.

ESCP Europe’s MEB programme, with its MBA-style curriculum and cross-cultural approach, has pursued an international development strategy focused on world regions undergoing strong economic growth, such as Asia. This is the business school’s 5th such agreement worldwide for the MEB and its 3rd in Asia. The MEB has existing partnership agreements with two of the most prestigious universities in the region: AIT Bangkok (Thailand) and MDI Gurgaon (India).

By Signing this academic agreement with the Xiamen University School of Management on Friday, 22nd March 2013, addresses two challenges:
· To offer students, whatever their nationality or career path, intensive international management training for one year, in two countries
· To identify multi-skilled, multicultural and motivated international students who are able to speak several languages for companies worldwide

Students on the one-year MEB programme will be able to go to China for their first semester and to one of ESCP Europe’s five campuses (Paris, London, Berlin, Madrid, Torino) for their second semester. With this new agreement in China, the MEB strengthens its aim of being a European gateway to the world.
