AFRICA, GHANA, (SMU) Sikkim Manipal University; Cancelled Semester Examination stir Student Protest.

Report reaching Universities Affairs that there were protest at the University premises of  Sikkim Manipal University(SMU) an India University Operating in Ghana on 4th Feb. 2013

According to one of the student, the school authority has decided to postpone the Semester exam of first year student which is suppose to take place between March and April 2013 had been adjourned to the next semester which is September/October  2013 for reason been that the school main Campus in India did  not confirm the student registration here in Ghana.

And according to the student, the school authority had stated that any student whom he/she can not wait for the next semester to write the exam can come for fees refund.

 Both the Student Union Government(SUG) and the school authority are still trying to sort things out so as to know whats next for the students affected.
