Imagine a digital campus where students’ history can be accessed by the click of a mouse; where parents, students, teachers and school managements can be integrated on one ICT platform.
With the recently gathering of stakeholders in education sector to discuss ICT for school transformation, it is no longer difficult to imagine.
CEO, Lean Sigma concepts, Mr. Chibunna Ezenwa, who spear headed the conference said: “We decided to venture into this because we saw a need in the education sector of this country. We developed this programmed to guarantee quality learning and development to learners and stake holders in the industry at a cheaper cost.”
The programme developer, Mr. Chitari Letin, said that his company, Siva Group, has a blend of qualified professionals “who have worked and reworked this programme for about 15 years.”
While expounding on the programme, Letin said that the programme “basically has about 42 models ranging from Centralized administration to knowledge management, enterprise resource management as well as communication and collaboration.
“The Digital Campus reaches society, students, parents, governing bodies and administration.”
Allaying the fears of school proprietors present that the programme was not out to change their curricular, Chitin said that it is structured to work the way the school works and not the other way round.
“We would design our learning programme based on your already existing curricular.”
